An excellent hang out. Family members of mine have been here multiple times previously, this was my first experience. Believe me, it does not disappoint. The modern vibe is trendy, yet very comfortable. Plenty of open seating for your caffeine enjoyment. There's also a private room available for your small business meeting. Plenty of parking and a drive-thru to boot. My beverage of choice was a more traditional espresso drink, but the other member of my party opted for one of the unbelievably creative creations that has put Thunder Coffee on the map. The drink in the glass jar was called Flannel Pajamas. Perhaps a funky name, but what a delicious taste. I highly recommend that you stop by and check these guys out. If you follow any of my posts, you know that I live on the road, and I have been in hundreds of coffee shops domestically as well as overseas. This is a very unique place that I will come back to again.

Couldn’t have had a better first impression of this place! I was on the hunt for a coffee shop with a chill vibe and good energy and that’s exactly what I found. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile. The atmosphere was immediately inviting and friendly. I was very indecisive with lots of questions about the menu and the staff was very helpful with recommendations. Also loved the aesthetic in here 💕🌿 Will definitely be back when I’m in the Fargo area again.

My first time here to study. Coffee was great... reminded me of the 20 Below (Moorhead, MN) roast. Spacious, clean space indoors. Simple menu. Only criticism would be that background music could be quieter 🤫

Well, I’ll just say it- this is easily one of the best coffee shops in Fargo! And let it be known, that actually means something because Fargo has quite a few cool coffee joints. But Thunder Coffee really finds a way to stand out. Their coffee is wonderful- there’s a special matcha latte that has lemon and rose syrup in it, and I know how odd a combo it sounds, but it’s one of the best coffees I’ve ever tried. I never was much a fan of matcha, and this coffee made me change my mind. They have a small selection of pastries that are all great too. The atmosphere is awesome, just what you would hope for at a coffee shop. It’s laid back, quiet, soothing, and the gentle decorations all add up to being perfect. I love all of the potted plants they have sitting around and that they have labeled what each one is, and not to mention how cool the chandelier is!!! All of the workers have been so nice every time I’ve gone. Really, what a freaking cool place- you won’t be disappointed coming here. They really bring the Thunder and Lightning.

Lovely lovely coffee shop with really sweet baristas! They whisk their matcha, it’s not sweetened, and no clumps! Yay! We got an iced matcha with oat milk and tried the apple cinnamon matcha with cold foam (be sure to ask for plant milk in the cold foam bc the default is cows milk!!) - barista was knowledgeable and kind when we told her we vegan and appreciate her watching out for us 🌱 Bonus: they have for here cups so you can avoid single use plastic! 👏🏼 They also have a drive through.

Friendly & fast service. We stopped in for coffee while on a trip to the Fargo area. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and all the plants. Spotted Waldo while we were there. Coffee was great. We will definitely be back when in the area.

We stopped here with friends visiting from the Czech Republic and can honestly say the coffee was absolutely delicious. The pumpkin spice latte was full of flavor and perfectly balanced. What impressed us most was the service — we asked about the pumpkin spice flavor, and while the barista explained she couldn’t sell it, she went out of her way to find two empty jars and shared some with us. That kind of thoughtful and genuine service is truly rare these days. Highly recommended — both for the coffee and the amazing staff!

We stopped in on our way back to the Twin Cities from Grand Forks early morning trying to beat some bad weather. Both workers greeted us immediately and were extremely friendly. We took our coffee and breakfast sandwiches to go and our order was done quickly. Our drinks and food were great, and we were pleased that the sandwiches made to order, not just pulled out of a bag and microwaved. Definitely recommend!
